Senior Software Developer
Job Overview
S2 Global’s sister company Rapiscan Systems, a wholly-owned subsidiary of OSI Systems, Ine.
designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products
are used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles and other objects for weapons, explosives,
drugs and other contraband. Rapiscan security and inspection devices can be found in a wide
range of locations such as, airports, border crossings, railway stations, sea ports and terminals,
government and military installations and nuclear facilities.
The SeniorSoftware Developer is a part of the S2 Global team and is responsible for working closely
with line of business (LOB) managers at S2, product team managers at Rapiscan and IT
Application Managers at OSI-Systems to manage the design and rollout of S2 products and
integration solutions. This position will support the requirements for the S2 products CertScan
(image scanning and analysis software) and S2 training software S2University. The position will
also be responsible for designing, creating and supporting an online web-based learning
management system (LMS) and must be able to work independently and collectively with team
members around the globe. This position requires advanced conversational English language
skills.
Job Description
- The candidate should have good organization and documentation skills in order to work with
the end customers and internal users to provide solutions to business issue - The SeniorSoftware Developer willbe asked to joint team efforts to select, design, configure and test applications and the processes that are needed based on a customer require In this role, the candidate will also be required to function as a technical team player and may be asked to enlist the
aid of other business managers to effectively manage these efforts as needed. - The candidate will have good knowledge of IT systems, software and hardware, as this
knowledge will be critical in delivering enterprise scale applications. - The candidate willbe required to actively participate in daily SCRUM or weekly meetings to
communicate current assignment issues. - The Senior Software Developer is expected to show a positive constructive team spirit upholding the Company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.

Core Duties
- Daily programming in web technologies supporting the Microsoft .Net stack C#, MVC, Entity
Framework, WebAPI RESTFUL web services. - Designing User Interfaces utilizing HTMLS, JQuery UI, Bootstrap, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON/XML.
- Database development and analysis in Microsoft SQL Server 2012.
- Code first approach experience desirable.
- Virtual host machine administration experience desirable.
- System Administration and Networking skills in an Azure Cloud desirable.
Job Qualifications
- The candidate should display excellent written and verbal communication skills and should be
able to effectively relate with various levels of staff, executives and customers. - The candidate should be able to present and support ideas effectively and facilitate
discussions to a meaningful and productive conclusio - Requires 5+ yearsof experience in software development, business analysis, system administration, testing or a combination of similar fields.

- The software developer will be familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of
