Subject: The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH is looking for a potential subcontractor to develop Local Disaster Risk Assessments, Local Disaster
Risk Reduction Strategies and Local Emergency Plans for Durrës, Shijak and Krujë Municipalities and Durrës County, Albania
- The aim of this service is to develop standard municipal Local DRR Documents, in line with the national processes and in a participatory way to provide the opportunity for local stakeholders to become aware and involved, and therefore learn, understand and co-design such documents. This involves conducting Local risk assessments, identifying strategic objectives, projects and respective costed measures for their implementation as well as local emergency plans. The three set of documents for Municipalities of Durrës, Shijak, Krujë and Durrës County will be aligned with the applicable National legislation and documentation on Civil Protection in Albania.
- Eligibility: Participation is open to all legal persons which are effectively established in Albania.
Eligible to apply:
- Companies with annual turnover of at least 100.000 EUR in the last three years
- Companies that have at least three contracts with reference amount at least 50.000 EUR of the same type (in Albania)
- Companies that have an average nr of 5 employees in the last three years
- Companies with at least 3 reference projects in the technical fields of DRR, climate adaptation, environmental engineering, risk-mapping, spatial planning, local economic development.
- Companies with at least 3 reference projects in Albania in the last three years
- Companies that have technical expertise in these areas:
- DRR/ Climate Adaptation
- Environmental Engineering
- Risk-Mapping
- Local economic development
- Spatial Planning
- Experience in development projects, at least ODA financed 50%
