Ekspertët e New York Times pas vlerësimit të filmave që janë në garë gjatë këtij sezoni kanë bërë parashikimet.
“1917” pritet që të rrëmbejë çmimin “filmi më i mirë”. Ky film ka marrë çmime më të mëdha dhe u shpall fituesi i Golden Globes.
Sipas ekspertëve filmi për luftën nuk ka asnjë pretendent tjetër për të garuar.
Megjithëse debutoi në fund të vitit të kaluar, po dëshmon se është realizuar pikërisht në kohën e duhur. Pas gati 6 javësh në kinema, ka bërë më shumë se 120 milion dollarë brenda vendit dhe zuri vendin e dytë në kutitë e fitimeve fundjavën e kaluar.
Por në bazë të ceremonive të fundit të çmimeve Oskar është arritur në përfundimin se ka një ndarje mes kategorive kryesore. Ndaj pritet që regjisori më i mirë të shpallet Bong i “Parasite”.
